The Miss Moultrie-Douglas Pageant has been a long-standing tradition dating back to 1962, with the addition of Little Miss in 1983 and Jr Miss in 2000. The goal of this pageant is to not only have fun but to build confidence, develop professional skills, and learn about our countries and their deep roots in agriculture each of our contestants. In addition to representing the county and promoting agriculture, the winner of each year's Miss Pageant will compete in the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in January. Mo-Do has been blessed with much success over the years. In 1976 Merci Izquierdo went on to the State Pageant and won the title of Miss Illinois County Fair Queen. We have had 21 Queens placed in the Top 15, and one queen placed in the Top three.
Due to the generous contributions of local businesses and individuals, we are able to offer a $2,000 scholarship to the winner!
