Warner Music Nashville’s Braxton Keith has been hailed as “a devotedly country artist with the talent to join the ranks of today’s surge of neo-traditionalist hitmakers” (Billboard). His latest release, a “sublime” (MusicRow) version of George Strait’s masterpiece “The Chair” is making its way up Spotify’s Top 50 Viral Chart now.
Last year, Keith released his debut EP, Blue, featuring a selection of songs that Rolling Stone regarded as “hardcore, traditional country music” and Billboard lauded as “a slab of stone-cold country…forged from the depths of the Texas honky-tonk circuit, [which] highlights Keith’s unmistakable, conversational singing style.” The five-track set featured his breakout hit, “Cozy” which to date has earned nearly 100 million global streams and continues to climb.
A proud Texas native who these days splits time between San Antonio and Nashville, Keith is part of a new generation of country singer/songwriters leading a revival of its core creative tenants. He has become a regular face in venues all across his home state and the country while on tour with artists like Cody Johnson, Gavin Adcock, and Luke Bryan. The tireless road dog is also slated to headline more than 130 shows including stops on his This Ain’t My First Tour tour, which continues through the end of this year.
